The shade adapter ring (OLA16/SHADE) is a plastic ring which fits inside the 43mm opening of an Edison Screw (E27) lampholder reducing the size to approx. 28mm - for use with a Bayonet Cap (B22) lampholder. ASSEMBLY If this fitting is supplied unassembled to reduce shipping cost and minimise damage, some assembly by the customer or the installing electrician may be required. INSTALLATION If this fitting requires installation, connection to the mains electrical supply, that installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the wiring standard.
